The New Active Alignment Splicer Mini 100A has been introduced to equip FTTH Service Delivery Engineers with a quick and easy multi-function fusion splicer.
The Mini 100A has an auto built-in fibre stripper, the cleaving function is undertaken by creating a separate mounting plate to the sidewall of the machine, so the Mini 60A Cleaver can be quickly magnetically mounted and secured in position by quick release security fastenings.
Details
The Cleaver is a simple 1 click operationthat interacts by auto-rotatingthe blade. There is also a counter on the cleaverto record the number of operations so maintenance can always be undertaken in a timely manner.
The entire family of splicers from Fiberfox has the self-ARC calibrating function. (ARC value adjustment) it is automatically run when the machine detects different air pressure and humidity. The case of the Fusion Splicer is manufactured from a suitable engineering grade of Plastic to withstand a drop test from 760mm. Refer to the features and technical specifications.
